Welcome

We would like to offer you a warm welcome, whether you are looking for regular or occasional worship or just visiting. Whoever you are, you are welcome here. We are an eco friendly and Fair Trade Church. Bomere Heath is part of a small cluster of churches in the central district that also include Belle Vue, Bayston Hill and Greenfields, where from time to time we share in worship.

In addition to our regular Sunday Worship we host other activities in our lovely function rooms which include:-

3 C's – Coffee, Craft & Chat. Held on the first Wednesday each month. 10am until noon.
Tea & Cake Café. Held on the third Tuesday each month. 2pm – 4pm

We make regular donations to the Shrewsbury Food Bank and donations are welcomed.

A Strict Health and Safety Policy is in place and is continually reviewed and updated as found necessary.

"I've been living in Shropshire since 2017 and before that on Iona in Scotland for a number of years. I've been in some form of paid accountable ministry since 2000 in various areas of church life and became a Methodist in 2017.

I easily identify with the spiritually curious and therefore try to offer an engaged spirituality whilst upholding those who appreciate tradition. I'm passionate about the environment, equality, interfaith dialogue, science and theology.

For me, being a Christian is being a life long student of Jesus being a Christian and embracing how to live his teachings in my life in the ordinary and extraordinary. My faith (and doubt) has carried me through some difficult challenges in life and it is my hope I can be privileged to journey with others in their joys, sorrows and spiritual journey."
