I started as 'Community Chaplain' in September 2012. I have been working for the circuit for the last three years, and have felt it a real privilege to serve God in the role I had been doing.

During the last three years, God has given me opportunities to share my faith with others in positive ways, which is why I am looking forward to the challenges of this post. In this role I will be working alongside three Churches in the southern area of the circuit, spending time with people, of all generations, who have little or no contact with the Church.

The aim of the post is to help people experience the love of God.

As part of this role I will look at places where contact can be made, then at new ways of helping people to come to faith.

There are many opportunities, but also many challenges during this post, but with the support of colleagues and by prayer and faith in God, I will trust him to point me in the right direction.
