It has been a joy to welcome new staff to the Circuit!

On Saturday 31st August we gave a formal welcome to Deacon Sara Windsor-Hides, who will will be working in Knighton, Llanbister and Builth Wells

Last Saturday, 7th September we not only welcomed Deacon Carys Woodley and Revd Julia Skitt at a wonderful service in Ellesmere, but commissioned them with Lay Pastor Jacob Molyneux for a new team ministry to work across the north of the circuit. Exciting times!

Both services were very well attended and support was given from across the Circuit. The preacher at both was our District Chair, Revd Rachel Parkinson and (against the expectations of some!) had two very different sermons. Both services were uplifting and encouraging with a strong sense of the presence of God at work among his people.

Alleluia!

A number of local residents were pleased for the opportunity to contribute. You don't need to lie down on the M25 or chain yourself to a train to make a difference with climate justice. But we do need to recongise that younger generations (that generation that we long to come to church) is looking to us to take Climate Change seriously. For that generation and others, Climate Change is not only a concern but something to be acted upon, now. September 25th, the...
