Bishop's Castle Methodist Centre hosted its second Service of Confirmation this year when mum Jenny Davies, following in daughter Leah's footsteps, was received into membership. The Service was led by Revd. George Heinz, who after the Service remarked, "It was a real pleasure to guide Jen through her Confirmation process and to share that journey of faith and that step that she has taken. It's and a privilege to be part of that." Jenny, who has worshipped with members of Bishop's Castle and Brocton Chapels for many years, during which she has assisted with initiatives such as Rainbow Gang, Little Fish and the annual Holiday Club, has been pondering deepening her commitment to her Christian faith for some time. Encouraged by Elisabeth and Michael Knight, who have schooled her through initiatives such as the Alpha Course, Jenny said she was inspired to be confirmed by her daughter who was confirmed in June. "I decided to go for it, as when Leah did it, it was such a lovely service. People came together and it's like making that next step."

The Circuit welcomes Jenny and congratulates her on this new phase of her Christian journey.
