Faith as ART

FREE Workshop. Using digital slides of two works from the Methodist Modern Art Collection, we will look at how the individual Artists interpret the same biblical theme and the techniques they used. During the session we will be creating our own works inspired by the paintings studied.

This workshop is free and open to everyone, no matter your experience or ability in Art, or your faith or no faith, but is not suitable for children.

You will need to bring your own art materials of choice, this could just be a pencil and a few sheets of paper.

The workshop is being run by Simon Williamson, a North Yorkshire based Artist and Designer. Simon has previously worked for Shropshire Council and was also a past chairman of the SADAA art panel.

Saturday 24th June 2023, 2 to 5pm at the Hermitage Centre, Belle Vue Methodist Church, Shrewsbury.
