A Dedication Service recognising the work and commitment of Local Preachers, Juliet Lewis and Mike Hallworth, was recently held at Belle Vue Chapel. Led by Revd Frances Biseker, the Service commemorated the combined years, 110 in total, that Juliet and Mike have served the Methodist Church and Shropshire and Marchers Methodist Circuit. The pair received Long Service awards.

Following the Service, Juliet’s Daughter Sue Taylor thanked those at Belle Vue. “So much care, thought and love had gone into the preparation and delivery,” she said adding, “Mum doesn't really like being made a fuss of, but we are very proud of her commitment and dedication to preaching over such a long time. It was lovely to see how valued she and Mike both are within the Belle Vue church community.”
