Bettisfield Chapel's final Carol Service took place last Sunday. A popular annual event, this year saw the little chapel crammed with an enthusiastic congregation.

The Service was led by Local Preacher Sue Mathews, and the carols, sung with the usual Methodist gusto, were accompanied by organist Audrey Hughes. The Bible passages were read by some of Bettisfield Chapel's members. Everyone agreed that it was a most memorable occasion. Sadly, this was the penultimate Service before the chapel closes in January. The collection raised was given to the Hope House charity.
