Revd Derrick R Lander

My name is Derrick and I have served in three other circuits before coming to Shrewsbury in 2007. In the previous two circuits, as well as Shrewsbury, I have been the Superintendent Minister.

With particular gifts in pastoral ministry and relating to other people, and with skills as an administrator, organiser and manager of change who can think strategically and outside the box, the new circuit invited me to take responsibility for the newly formed Shropshire and Marches Circuit.  I continue to do with commitment and enthusiasm, the sole purpose being to serve Christ as faithfully as I can, while seeking the very best for the mission and ministry of Methodism and the ministers and people under my care.

Revd Sarah Wood

Hi. My name is Sarah Wood and I am a Probationer Minister in Shrewsbury. We  moved here last Summer from Luton in Bedfordshire and are really enjoying living and working in this beautiful area.

Everyone is very friendly and the Churches I serve are encouraging and supportive. Although the town here is very different from Luton I am enjoying the new challenges that this brings. I am looking forward working more with the people in the churches to find new ways of bringing Gods message of hope and love the communities we are in.
