Oswestry Methodist Church has stood on the corner of Castle Street and Chapel Street for over 110 years,

We meet on a Sunday morning for a traditional service with an occasional All Age Worship.

We have a Prayer and Bible Study Group, an active Prayer Chain, a Ladies Fellowship and an “Ofsted” inspected Pre School which meets during Term Time.

Sunday Service is at 10.45am

Prayer and Bible Study is on Tuesdays from 10.00am -Noon

Ladies Fellowship is on Tuesdays at 2.30pm

Pre School 9.15-3.15 Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, 9.15-12.15 on Tuesdays

We have various rooms to let in the evening and during the day in school holidays.

  • Welcome

    The Shropshire & Marches Methodist Circuit came into being on the 1st September, 2010. It was formed from the amalgamation of eight smaller circuits, two from the Birmingham District (Cwm and Kingstone and Leominster, Presteigne and Kington) and six from the Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury District (Wem and Prees Green; Oswestry, Ellesmere and Chirk; Llanymynech; Shrewsbury; The Marches, and Shropshire South).
