A REMINDER FROM THE DISTRICT OFFICE PRESIDENTIAL VISIT 24th-27th March 2017

You may have picked up that we have been working hard planning the Presidential Visit that will soon be upon us, here is an outline of the weekend:
Friday 24th March
The President will be going to St John’s Bloxwich for lunch followed by seeing some of the pioneering work done by Vickie Heydon-Matterface in Leamore.
The Vice President will be joining Ablewell Advice in Walsall for lunch and the afternoon to see some of the work that they are doing.
In the evening both the President and Vice-President are joining Wolverhampton Pioneer Ministries to see their work at Darlington Street.
Saturday 25th March
The day will be spent at Bayston Hill Methodist Church starting with a chance for Supernumerary Ministers to meet with the President and Vice-President between 1000 and 1100. If you are attending this please let us know ASAP so that we can make catering arrangements.
This will be followed by a fantastic day of conversation and workshops called Praying for a Change. This will be a day open to all looking at the themes of Thy Kingdom Come and Holiness and Justice.
In the evening the President and Vice-President will meet with Senior Circuit Stewards and members of the District Staff Team over food.
Sunday 26th March
The President will be preaching at Shifnal Methodist Church in the morning and Kinver Methodist Church in the evening.
The Vice-President will be preaching at St Johns Bloxwich in the morning before leaving the District for prior engagements.
Monday 27th March
We will round off the visit as we have in recent years with a chance for Ministers and Lay Workers (if others would like to join they would be welcome) to meet with the President, hear some of his thoughts about his year in office before a chance for Questions and Answer. This will take place at Trinity Methodist Church, Kidderminster.
